Sundarbans: The Sundarbans is a vast forest in the coastal region of the Bay of Bengal, considered one of the natural wonders of the world. It is the largest coastal mangrove forest in the world and home to the majestic and fiery Royal Bengal tigers.
Known as the photographer’s paradise as these emerald islands have their own charm to mesmerize the photographers as they travel the serene jungles of Sundarbans.
The forests are the hub of various migratory birds such as Siberian Cranes, Yellow Wagtail, Wood Sandpiper, Eurasian Golden Oriole and many more. Among all, the most incredible sight which the photographers die to capture is the royal glace of the stately Royal Bengal Tigers.

Pick up from Kolkata in an exclusive vehicle and drive to Godhkhali, a journey of about 3 hrs. After procuring the necessary permission from Forest Dept., we transfer you by a motor fitted country boat from Godhkhali jetty to the tourist lodge located in the Sundarbans Islands. A journey down the river Hogil, Gomar, Durgaduni and Gumdi. Reach the resort in an hour and half approximately. After reaching, freshen up and have your lunch. After lunch we set off on motor boat to view wildlife from the Sajnekhali Watchtower, visit the Sajnekhali Museum & Mangrove Interpretation Center. After watching the sunset with chirping of birds returning home, we bring you back to your to your resort. You may take rest or join to enjoy the entertaining Folk Dance “Banbibi Pala” (Optional). Dinner and night halt at the forest resort / boat.
The second day involves a half day cruise through the rivers and narrow creeks and a lovely birding experience. Food would be prepared and served onboard the launch itself. We start after tea to visit the watchtowers of Do Banki&Sudhanyakhali. The canopy walk at Do Banki gives you an opportunity to view wildlife from netted enclosure. Thereafter, get thrilled by cruising deep inside the forest and also around the islands of of the Sundarbans Tiger Project Area. You will be guided by our Naturalist and Tour Expert to view the Mangrove forest from close quarters, deep inside the creeks of Sarak Khali. Last on the list for the day would be the Sudhanyakhali Watchtower. The sweet water pond at Sudhanyakhali attracts a lot of wild animals and gives you an opportunity to watch them from a close quarters. After lunch on the boat we depart for Godhkhali. From Godhkhali, we transfer you to Kolkata. Arrive at Kolkata by 5:30pm – 6:00pm.
